La Dispute is a five piece band from Grand Rapids, Michigan.[1] They have released One album and Seven Extended plays. Their latest EP was a split with Los Angeles based band Hardcore Punk band Touché Amoré. [2]
The band released their debut EP, Vancouver, in 2006 on Friction Records,[3][4] followed by an untitled 7" in 2008 on Forest Life Records,[5] and a series of releases: Here, Hear on mini CD on Forest Life Records and Here, Hear II on 7" through No Sleep Records, both in 2008.[6] They then released Here, Hear III in 2009 through digital download. Most recently released was their split with Touché Amoré called "Searching For A Pulse/The Worth Of The World" in 2010.
Their LP debut Somewhere at the Bottom of the River Between Vega and Altair was released November 11, 2008 on No Sleep Records.[7] It was well received by critics, with positive reviews from AbsolutePunk,[8] Alternative Press,[9] Punknews.org,[10] Sputnikmusic,[11] and others.[12][13]
The band is currently working on a follow up to their debut album as well as a split 7" Record title "Never Come Undone" with singer-songwriter Koji.
